The Journey to Making Waves:

Updated: Nov 7, 2023

Greetings fellow aquatic enthusiasts and wellness warriors! Today, I'm thrilled to share my journey with you – from the pool lanes of collegiate competition to the helm of aquatic therapy innovation. I am Leslie Becki MS, ATC, CSCS a former college swimmer turned athletic trainer, and a passionate advocate for the incredible benefits of aquatic therapy. Join me as we dive into the waters of my experiences, from selling SwimEx therapy pools to coaching & directing programs with MLAC.

My dedication with the water began as a young competitive swimmer, where the pool became my sanctuary. After hanging up my competitive cap, I transitioned seamlessly into the world of athletic training. I discovered the remarkable impact water had on rehabilitation and fitness – it wasn't just a medium for competition but a space for healing and growth.

10+ years ago, I took a plunge into the business side of aquatics, representing SwimEx and bringing their cutting-edge therapy pools to professional teams, colleges, and homeowners alike. It was a journey of introducing others to the transformative power of water for rehabilitation, training, and overall well-being.

Today, I am honored to serve as the Program Director and Coach at MLAC. – a position that allows me to combine my passion for aquatics with a commitment to fostering holistic wellness.

Journey ahead:

As we embark on this journey together, I invite you to join me in exploring the boundless possibilities that water holds for each one of us. Expect insights into aquatic rehabilitation, swim training, and aquatic facility design & challenges.

Thank you for joining me on this adventure. Here's to making waves, achieving personal bests, and embracing the transformative power of water!

Dive in and let the journey begin!
